Epiphany Year B The first verse from Isaiah 60 expresses the wonder of this season of Epiphany - "Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you..." During Epiphany here in Australia, unlike the northern hemisphere, we are blessed with long, light filled days - the perfect environment in which to glorify God. Let this season of Epiphany therefore, be the time when we do give thanks for the beautiful light we experience in this country, but especially, let us give thanks for the coming of Christ - the true Light of the world.
